What to Expect

Upon entering our office, our team will welcome you like family. Before your appointment, you’ll complete new client forms that help us better understand your health history, concerns, and goals.

You’ll then meet with the chiropractor for a one-on-one consultation to discuss your condition, health challenges, and expectations for care.

This conversation allows us to determine how upper cervical chiropractic care may support your long-term health goals.

We use advanced infrared paraspinal thermography to detect areas of underlying nerve stress and dysfunction.

If your results indicate areas of concern, specific X-rays may be recommended to confirm whether your case is appropriate for care and to identify the exact location and cause of spinal misalignment (subluxation).

X-rays allow us to create the most precise and effective care plan possible while also helping identify any serious spinal conditions that may require additional attention.

Because we dedicate significant time to carefully analyzing your examination findings and imaging, chiropractic adjustments are typically not performed during the first visit. Our priority is accuracy, safety, and delivering care with confidence—not guesswork.

During this visit, the chiropractor will walk you through your examination results and X-rays, helping you understand what normal spinal alignment looks like and how your findings compare.

If your examination confirms an upper cervical misalignment (subluxation), care may begin immediately.

Following your first adjustment, you’ll rest briefly before undergoing a follow-up evaluation to determine how your body is responding to the correction.

Infrared thermography and imaging will be performed to compare your progress and ensure the adjustment is holding properly. Once maximum correction is confirmed, your body can begin the healing process.

During this appointment, the chiropractor will continue monitoring your progress and determine whether additional adjustments are needed.

You’ll also be introduced to personalized in-office exercises and home care recommendations designed to support spinal correction and improve long-term results.
